Ubuntu is niiiiice

Here is a youtube video demonstrating the cool effects you could get with Compiz in Ubuntu. This is hundreds of times cooler than Vista and its lame effects. I could run almost all the special effects in that video on my old Dell 700m sans the transparent cube. And some of the effects are surprisingly useful, like the rotating cube. It lets you see all your workspaces simultaneously and really gives you the feel of actual windows placement. The best of it, of course, is that all the eyecandies are free, like everything else in Linux.
