I'm a newer for RedHat, but I really need to install RHEL4, and cannot update it to RHEL5 or 6 for some special reason. When I install the ati-driver-installer-11-5-x86.x86_64.run on RHEL4.7, I got one error message:
Error: ./default_policy.sh does not support version
default:v2:x86_64:lib:Xorg; make sure that the version is being
correctly set by --iscurrentdistro
But I can install the ati-driver-installer-11-2-x86.x86_64.run successfully, but got another error message when run aticonfig:
aticonfig: No supported adapters detected
I compared the extracted package 11-5 and 11-2. I found the difference is as bellow:
11-2:

So how can I solve the default_policy.sh version issue, or use the two(11-2 and 11-5) to generate a suitable driver for my RHEL4.7. Thank you!

How can I make a suitable driver and install? or I just want to change my resolution ratio to 16:9 (default only 4:3), I tried some methods listed by google, such as change the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but all failed.

请检查显卡型号，是否被11-2的驱动支持。
如果不行，需要寻找更旧的驱动
