fedora 13实体机，开启vsftpd服务。我想让vsftpd随系统启动，vi /etc/rc.d/rc.local ，想加入vsftpd start指令。
结果发现，/etc/init.d/和/etc/rc.d/init.d下都有个vsftpd。到底该输入哪一个指令呢？测试了一下，好像输入/etc/init.d/vsftpd start和/etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd start都能在开机的时候顺利的启动ftp服务器。
我想请教的是，这两个文件不同路径，有什么区别没有？
另一个问题是，为什么执行 find / -type f -name vsftpd -exec ls -l {} +;找不到/etc/init.d/vsftpd文件？

上图中，三个红色细线框中的三个vsftpd文件有什么不同吗？
这三个文件的大小又是怎么回事？
/etc/init.d/vsftpd 和/etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd两个文件大小是相同的。
/usr/sbin/vaftpd文件稍大。
补充：vsftpd服务启动后，执行ps -aux | grep vsftpd 发现系统运行的vsftpd程序正是/usr/sbin/vsftpd
这三个可执行vsftpd到底是什么关系，我被搞糊涂了

软链接的话，执行ls -l的时候应该能反映出来啊（第一列有个l）？为什么看不到呢？

如/etc/rc.local 是/etc/rc.d/rc.local的链接文件，对这两个文件分别file的时候，会发现有不一样的提示：
[root@fedora13 ~]# file /etc/rc.local
[color=Red]/etc/rc.local: symbolic link to `rc.d/rc.local'
[root@fedora13 ~]# file /etc/rc.d/rc.local
/etc/rc.d/rc.local: POSIX shell script text executable[/color]
而 /etc/init.d/vsftpd 和/etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd两个文件file出来的没有symbolic link这样的提示信息出现！
[root@fedora13 ~]# file /etc/init.d/vsftpd
/etc/init.d/vsftpd: Bourne-Again shell script text executable
[root@fedora13 ~]# file /etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd
/etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd: Bourne-Again shell script text executable

/usr/sbin/vsftpd 和/usr/local/sbin/vsftpd 的区别是什么呢？对这两个文件执行file的时候，显示的信息都是一样的。
[root@fedora13 ~]# file /usr/sbin/vsftpd
/usr/sbin/vsftpd: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.18, stripped
[root@fedora13 ~]# file /usr/local/sbin/vsftpd
/usr/local/sbin/vsftpd: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.18, stripped

经常用find的人应该牢记，事实上gnu的find可以通过选项控制是否跟随软链接（即符号链接）。早期unix的find是
不会跟随的，那样可能出现死循环（楼主可以思考一下）

/etc/init.d应该只是1个软链接，指向的是/etc/rc.d/init.d目录，
可以用[code]ls -ld /etc/init.d/[/code]验证下，
所以楼主看到的这两个目录的文件是相同的，
另外/etc/rc.d/init.d目录中的应该都是管理daemon进程的脚本文件，
可以用[code]file /etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd[/code]或者[code]less /etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd[/code]验证下，系统通过这个脚本配置vsftpd进程是否开机启动之类的，，
真正的可执行程序应该是在/usr/sbin/目录下的vsftpd，
find找不到/etc/init.d目录下的文件，可能就是find默认不进入符号链接吧，，
