we often watch the football match in zhibo8 in window,but how to watch it in ubuntu? I can tell you that's not difficult.There are some methods to realize it.
1. use gsopcast.
but the live list is so a few,of course you can change the list xml to your own list xml,then configure the gsopcast.
2. use gmlive.
it's better than gsopcat in some aspects. but i don't like it.
3. use wine+tvants
it's good,you can install the tvants in wine.then turn on a channel,but there will be a message to tell you that there is no default windows player to perform it. don't worry,you can do it like this.
type the command like "mplayer http://localhost:16900/*.asf", the "*" is instead of the number which you can easy to find in the list.
4. use gsopcast + zhibo8(sopcast seeds)
In fact,this way is also can be used in mehod 1. you know ,we often watch match in zhibo8,so we can easy to find the sopcast seed's real url, like "sop://....". then type the command like "sp-sc sop://... port1 port2".
then open your mplayer to play the url "http://localhost:port2/".okay, just enjoy the beautiful pictures.
